Kerrang is a rock magazine published by Bauer Consumer Media in the UK. The name refers to the sound of a guitar that is playing a power chord. Kerrang also has a radio station and TV channel. AC/DC were the first band to appear on thier front cover.

NME stands for New Music Express. It is from the Uk and is printed weekly. It features punk rock. The Beatles and The Rolling Stones were frequently featurd on the front cover in the 1960's.

The genre of my magazine will be rock music. There are lots of different rock band genres within the main genre such as Indie, heavy metal ect. so I think it would be interesting to work with .

Media Final Piece

In my final piece I think I am going to do a Music Magazine Cover. I have decided to do this because I enjoyed making a magazine more, I read lots of magazines;particularly music and I have good knowledge of the software that needs to be used for the task. I originally wanted to do magazine so when I did the movie priliminary I knew that I definately wanted to stick with Magazine.
